The October Project
For each day in October (my birthday month) I decided to take a new self portrait. I've seen different variations of this challenge done, and rather than carry on doing this a whole year, I thought 31 days was a good place to start.
Now looking back, I clearly see days that I was really lacking inspiration and days where everything fell into place, producing a single beautiful image. But rather than switch out my so-so portraits, I decided to stay honest and post them. All of them. This whole process truly took me out of my comfort zone and has given me a completely new outlook on self portraits - and I even discovered some new tricks along the way!
So here it is. Call it an exploration. Call it a way to document this time in my life. I call it The October Project.
